EDGE DECAL GENERATOR — END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between Gilad Baruch (“Licensor”) and the individual or legal entity purchasing or using Edge Decal Generator (“Software”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to the terms of this EULA.
GPL NOTICE
Edge Decal Generator’s software code is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). A copy of the applicable GNU General Public License is included with the Software.
1. Ownership
The Software, including its code, user interface, documentation, included assets, materials, presets, examples, and other accompanying content, remains the intellectual property of the Licensor.
Purchasing the Software grants you a license to use it. It does not transfer ownership of the Software or its intellectual property.
2. License Grant
Subject to compliance with this EULA, the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software according to the license tier purchased.
A. Individual License — 1 Seat
The Individual License permits use of the Software by one individual user.
The licensed user may install the Software on multiple computers personally used by that individual, provided the Software is not made available to another person.
The license may be used for personal and commercial work, including freelance work and work performed for clients or employers.
The license may not be shared with coworkers, employees, contractors, friends, or other users.
B. Studio License — Up to 5 Seats
The Studio 5-Seat License permits the purchasing company, studio, or other legal entity to make the Software available to up to five individual users at any one time.
The Software may be installed on devices owned or controlled by the licensee as reasonably necessary for those licensed users.
The license may be used for internal, commercial, client, and production work.
The Software may not be distributed outside the purchasing organization except as expressly permitted under this EULA.
If more than five users require access to the Software, additional licenses or a Studio Unlimited License must be purchased.
C. Studio Unlimited License
The Studio Unlimited License permits an unlimited number of users within the purchasing legal entity to use the Software.
The Software may be installed on computers owned or controlled by that organization as reasonably necessary for its users.
This license does not automatically extend to parent companies, subsidiaries, sister companies, clients, publishers, external outsourcing studios, independent contractors operating outside the licensee's organization, or other separate legal entities.
Each separate legal entity must obtain its own appropriate license unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Licensor.
3. Commercial Use
All license tiers permit commercial use.
You may use the Software to create assets, games, films, animations, visualizations, renders, client work, and other commercial or non-commercial projects.
You retain ownership of your original work created using the Software, subject to any third-party rights applicable to materials or other content used in that work.
There are no royalties or revenue limits imposed on projects created using the Software.
4. Generated Output
Geometry, decal placement, UV layouts, exports, and other output generated through normal use of the Software may be incorporated into your projects and distributed as part of those projects.
You may sell or distribute completed assets created using the Software, provided doing so does not distribute the Software itself or provide its proprietary components in a form that allows others to extract or reuse them as a substitute for purchasing the Software.
5. Restrictions
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, redistribute, share, rent, lease, or otherwise provide the Software itself to unauthorized users.
- Upload or distribute the Software through public repositories, file-sharing services, asset packs, torrents, or similar services.
- Circumvent license-seat restrictions or intentionally allow more users to access the Software than permitted by the purchased license.
- Sell or distribute a modified version of the Software as your own product.
- Remove or intentionally obscure copyright, licensing, or ownership notices included with the Software.
- Use the Software or substantial portions of its source code to create and distribute a competing addon, plugin, or software product.
- Transfer the license to another individual or legal entity without prior written permission from the Licensor.
Nothing in this section restricts rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable law.
6. Included Assets and Materials
Any example assets, decal textures, materials, presets, or other content supplied with Edge Decal Generator may be used as part of projects created using the Software unless explicitly stated otherwise.
They may not be redistributed, resold, or packaged as standalone assets, texture libraries, decal packs, material packs, or competing products.
Third-party components, if any, remain subject to their respective licenses.
7. Contractors and External Teams
An organization purchasing a Studio license may not simply distribute copies of the Software to unrelated external contractors or outsourcing companies.
Independent contractors who require their own installation of the Software must have an appropriate license unless the Licensor has expressly authorized their use under the organization's license.
Project files and finished outputs created using the Software may be shared normally as part of production.
8. Updates and Compatibility
The Licensor may provide updates, bug fixes, improvements, or new versions of the Software at their discretion.
Purchase of a license does not guarantee perpetual updates, future features, support for every future version of Blender or Unreal Engine, or compatibility with third-party software.
Major future versions may be offered separately or as paid upgrades.
9. Support
Support may be provided through the official support channels made available by the Licensor.
The Licensor does not guarantee a particular response time or that every requested feature, compatibility issue, or bug will be resolved.
10. No Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
The Licensor does not guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every hardware or software configuration, or suitable for a particular production requirement.
Nothing in this EULA excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the Software, including loss of data, revenue, profits, production time, or business opportunities.
To the extent liability cannot legally be excluded, the Licensor's aggregate liability arising from the Software will not exceed the amount paid by the licensee for the applicable Software license, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of production files and data.
12. Termination
This license remains valid unless terminated under this EULA.
The license terminates if the licensee materially breaches these terms and fails to remedy the breach where applicable.
Upon termination, the licensee must cease using the Software and delete copies under their control.
Termination does not affect the licensee's ownership of completed works lawfully created with the Software before termination.
13. Changes to the EULA
The terms applicable to a purchased license are those presented at the time of purchase, except where changes are required by law or expressly accepted by the licensee.
Updates to this EULA will not retroactively remove material rights granted under an existing paid license without the licensee's agreement, except where required by applicable law.
14. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.
Any dispute arising from this EULA will be subject to the competent courts of Israel, except where applicable law gives the licensee a mandatory right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
15. Entire Agreement
This EULA constitutes the agreement between the Licensor and licensee concerning use of the Software, together with the specific license tier identified at purchase and any applicable marketplace terms.
If a marketplace's mandatory terms conflict with this EULA, those mandatory terms apply only to the extent necessary to resolve that conflict.
